Edge, who died Saturday night at her home in Freetown, following a long illness. Burial will be in Rochester, Iowa, in the spring. D. and Sarah Cordelia Ridenour, was born Feb. 4, 1872, near Rochester, Iowa, and passed away at her home in Marathon, Cortland county, New York, after an extended illness of about two years, on Feb. 21, 1948 being at the time of her death 76 years 18 days. She was married to Harry M. Edge on Oct. 28, 1894, at Rochester, Iowa. To this union one son and one daughter were born. The daughter proceded her in death in infancy. Mrs. Edge was a member of the Presbyterian church and also participated in a number of organizations in the community in which she lived. She is survived by her husband and son Clarence; also two brothers, Hayes of Ames, and E. L. of Lisbon; one sister, Mrs F.S. Arnold of Bemidji, Minn.; one grandson and a number of nieces and nephews. A host of friends join in mourning her demise. The body was laid to rest in the Rochester cemetery on Monday, May 17, with a short service by the Rev. A. W. Straub
