She had been in ill health since June, 1963. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United Brethren church in Lehigh, with the Rev. Dale Kelly officiating, and with burial in the McGuire Bend cemetery near Stratford. The body will lie in state at the Foster funeral home until 9:30 Friday morning when it will be taken to the church. Lottie Echelberger, daughter of William and Susan (Barton) Echelberger, was born Oct. 21, 1884, on a farm near Lehigh. She was reared and educated in that community. She was united in marriage Oct. 1, 1902, to John H. Linn, and the couple had always resided in the Lehigh community. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Philip (Eva) Shafer, Lehigh; Mrs. Claire (Helen) Doyle, Thompson, Iowa; Mrs. Eddie (Sue) Engbertson, Rockton, Ill.; Mrs. Harold (Ethyl) O'Hearn of Lehigh; Mrs. Thomas (Marian) Timmons of Lehigh; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Harlow and Mrs. Millie Collingsworth, both of Capistrano Beach, Calif.; three brothers, Tom Echelberger, Kamrar; Frank Echelberger, Fort Dodge; and Eldon Echelberger of Joshua Tree, Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; one grandson, John William Linn, who was killed in action during World War II. Mrs. Linn was a member of the United Brethren church from the time she was 13 years old, and was always active in church work.
