Carmel Medical Center, after a sudden illness. She was born Jan. 23, 1933, at Hammond, Kansas, to Walter R. and Lela Mae Burke Brown. She attended area schools, and was a lifetime resident of southeast Kansas. She married Lawrence Prince on Dec. 14, 1950, at Bentonville, Ark. He survives of the home. She attended area schools, and was a lifetime resident of southeast Kansas. She married Lawrence Prince on Dec. 14, 1950, at Bentonville, Ark. He survives of the home. Additional survivors include four sons, Thomas D. Prince, of Arma, Gary Prince, of New Orleans, Melvin R. Prince, of Pittsburg, and Michael D. Prince, of Neodesha; five daughters, Debbie A. Ray, of Springfield, Mo., Cindy L. Prince, of Monmoth, Judy K. Smardo, of Frontenac, Teresa Mae Enloe, of Fairhaven, Mich., and Holly M. Prince, of Capaldo; three brothers, Bill Carpenter, of Weir, Richard Brown, of Chicago, and Larry Brown, of Garland, Texas; two sisters, Bea Farmer, of Pittsburg, and Betty Bath, of Lee's Summit, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway, with the Rev. Larry De Ornellis officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosebank Cemetery, at Mulberry. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Friends also may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
