Read More	DROWNING VICTIM BURIED WEDNESDAY Body Of Floyd Miles Found In Water Sunday Funeral At Late Home In Lawsonia Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Floyd Miles whose body was found Sunday afternoon floating in the Annamessex River near the drawbridge which connects Crisfield proper with the Jersey section. The body was found by two colored mean, who immediately summoned help and dragged it from the water. Dr. C. E. Collins, who examined the body, stated that death was due to drowning and that the body had been in the water from ten to twelve hours before it was found. As far as an be learned no one can definitely place the exact time of Miles death but it is thought that in some way he fell overboard Saturday night, probably near the place where his body was found Sunday. The deceased, a son of George T. and Belle Miles, a well-known family of the Lawsonia section of this city, was thirty-five years of age and had been a resident of this city for the major portion of his life. His work, until a short while ago when he left for Linden, N.J., where he was employed in the automobile assembly plant there, consisted mostly of trucking and the hauling of freight to distant cities. He leaves a host of friends, many made during his days of truck driving and others who were closely associated with him, to mourn his untimely passing. Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George T. Miles, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Howard Tyler and Mrs. Edwin Riggin, Jr., of this city. The services were held at the home of his parents at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. H. D. Dukes, pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, to which the family belonged, in charge. Rev. Dukes was assisted by Rev. J. Yancey Fincher, pastor of the Baptist Temple.
