ISABELLE MILES DIED ON SATURDAY Had Been In Failing Health For Number Of Years Funeral Services Held Wednesday afternoon Mrs. Mary Isabelle Miles, widow of the late Georgie Miles, passed away Saturday night after a lingering illness, at the age of 70. Mrs. Miles had been in poor health for some years, and recently her condition became worse. Failing to respond to treatment, she died Saturday. She lived in Asbury district for most of her life, where she had many friends and neighbors who regarded her highly and valued her friendship sincerely. A motherly type of woman, her home duties occupied her time and attention until she became ill. For some time she had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. W. Edwin Riggin, Jr., at Mariners. Funeral services were held at Mariners Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. W. H. Lowry. Interment was beside the body of her husband in Asbury cemetery. Pallbearers were members of Mariners and the Pilgrim Holiness Churches. Many lovely floral pieces were banked about the casket, testimony of the esteem and affection in which she was held by relatives and friends alike, and a large number of relatives and friends and neighbors attended the funeral ceremonies.
