Description	:	FOLO [sic] McFARLAND Folo Lorena McFarland was born on Sept. 26, 1898, near Lamoni, Harrison county, Missouri. She departed from this life on December I, 1918, at the age of 20 years, 2 months and 6 days. Folo accepted Christ at the age of 14 and remained a devoted Christian until the day of her death. Among her last words was the statement that all was well. She graduated from Eagleville High School in 1915 attending Maryville Normal School in 1916-17. Read More	FOLO [sic] McFARLAND Folo Lorena McFarland was born on Sept. 26, 1898, near Lamoni, Harrison county, Missouri. She departed from this life on December I, 1918, at the age of 20 years, 2 months and 6 days. Folo accepted Christ at the age of 14 and remained a devoted Christian until the day of her death. Among her last words was the statement that all was well. She graduated from Eagleville High School in 1915 attending Maryville Normal School in 1916-17. She went to Colorado Springs September 1, 1917, whither her parents had gone to improve her father's health. In October she suffered three or four weeks with pleurisy, recovering sufficiently to be able to do light housework, attend church services and assist in church activities. In February she contracted measles that left her in declining health. Her father was taken from this world April 2, 1918. Soon after that, she entered a private sanitarium, staying seven weeks, returning to Lamoni in August where she resided until death. Fola was of a very lovable disposition, very much devoted to her parents. She was patient and cheerful through all her sickness and her mother's counselor after her father's death. She leaves mother, sister Zatha, brother Wayne and a host of friends to mourn her departure. The funeral was conducted at Lamoni, December 4th, by Rev. Paul V. Clark of Eagleville. The body was laid to rest in the Lamoni cemetery. Many beautiful floral offerings were presented by her Sunday School classes of Otterbein church.
