Survivors include her husband, Rev. Basil Grimes; a son, Gary Grimes and a daughter; Linda Sears, both of Des Moines; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends were invited to call after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Assn..
