Adamson, died at the home of her daughter on Friday morning Sept. 1. Her maiden name was Prentice; she was born in Kinderhook, N. Y. July 9, 1836. She was married to Jonsthan (sic) Ford at Greenfield, N. Y. June 9, 1854. Four children, two boys and two girls were born to them. Of these children, Mrs. Adamson is the only one living. Mr. Ford died some years ago and for a long time the Mrs. Ford made her home with her daughter. In her early life she united with the Presbyterian church and on coming to Loup City nearly thirty years ago she united with the Methodist church. Her sickness was of long duration, but she endured her affliction through the years with that degree of christian patience that endeared her to those who knew her. The funeral was conducted from the home on Saturday afternoon by the Rev. W. C. Harper. A large number of the older people who knew her paid their tribute of high respect to her memory by their presence. The burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. The Times-Independent - Sep 7 1911
