Description	:	Mrs. D. A. Goble until 1901, a resident of Montgomery County, Iowa, died Sunday morning, March 23, 1919 at abut 3:40 at the home in Artesian, South Dakota. For about a year, Mrs. Goble had suffered from cancer, for the last three months, the trouble being quite painful and for four days prior to her death was also a sufferer from bronchitis. The body was brought to Villisca Wednesday by the husband and Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. Taylor is a daughter of the deceased. The body was brought to Villisca Wednesday by the husband and Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. Taylor is a daughter of the deceased. The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at Holmes Chapel, Rev. E. S. Menoher of this city had charge and burial was made in the Bean Cemetery west of Morton Mills. Frances Ellen Sailor was born November 24, 1857 at Mt. Vernon, Ohio. At the time of her death she was sixty one years, 3 months, and 29 days of age. She came to Villisca in 1874 with her parents. March 3, 1876, she was united in marriage to D. A. Goble. After marriage she lived for a time just north of Sciola and later the family moved to Red Oak . In 1901 they moved from Red Oak to Pipestone, Minnesota. They were also resident of Madison, South Dakota, before removing to Artesian, in that state about two years ago. Besides her husband, the deceased is survived by one son, Dr. B. E. Goble of Pender, Kansas and one daughter, Mrs. George Taylor of Artesian. The husband and two children were both with their mother at the time of death. Dr. Goble came Wednesday evening to join his sister and father here in attendance at the funeral. The two surviving sisters are Mrs. J. B. Kimel of near Morton Mills and Mrs. George Lattimer of Cumberland. The latter came from Cumberland to be present at the obsequies. Mrs. W. P. Mayhew, deceased, was also a sister of Mrs. Goble. Those in this community who were acquainted with Mrs. Goble realize that in her death the family mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother and her friends and neighbors the loss of a good woman.
