He was the son of the late Mr and Mrs George Magarvey who predeceased him many years ago. He was the son of the late Mr and Mrs George Magarvey who predeceased him many years ago. He had lived his entire life in this place and was well-known through the valley and various districts as a wholesale fish dealer and had been associated with this business for many years. Besides his wife, the former Blanche Milner, daughter of Thomas Milner of Parker´s Cove, he leaves 3 daughters: Myrtle, Mrs Cyril White of Kentville; Vera, Mrs Willard Anderson, Jr. of this place; and Edna at home. One sister, Edith, Mrs George Meehan of Belmont, Mass.; 2 brothers: Howard in the USA and Arch residing here, also 1 grandchild Phern White. A sister, Ruth predeceased him some years ago, also a daughter Dorothy. Funeral was from his late residence, Tuesday, Sept 2nd, Reverend L Mills of Lower Granville officiated.
