Services are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church here, with the Rev Cecil McSweeney officiating. Rosary will be recited at Brouhard Funeral Home in Zearing at 8 p/m/ Thursday. Surviving are his widow; four sons, Charles Leroy Burg, Grapevine, Texas, Joseph Wayne, Marshalltown, John L and Ralph, St Anthony; three daughters, Mrs Carl (Delores) Duncan, Torrance, California, Mrs Lillian Knutson, Ames, and Mrs Vernon (Betty) Middelton, St Anthony; 25 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Virgil. Wednesday, June 2, 1971 Marshalltown Times Republican, Marshalltown, Iowa. Frank Burg, 81, St Anthony, died Tuesday evening at the Story County Hospital in Nevada. He had been in ill health for the past four years. Funeral services will be Friday morning at the Sacred Heart Church in St Anthony. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery, Rhodes. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Brouhard Funeral Home, Zearing. Mr Burg was born July 18, 1892. He retired from farming in 1957. Mr Burg has lived in the St Anthony community since 1942. Survivors include his wife, Anna; four sons, John and Ralph William, both of St Anthony, Charles LeRoy of Grapvine, Texas, and Joseph Wayne of Marshalltown; three daughters, Mrs Lilliann Knetson, Ames, Mrs Delores Duncan, Torrance, California and Mrs Betty Middleton of St Anthony; and three sisters.
