Description	:	Frank Forgy Fergus 70, died Saturday night, January 9, 1954 at the Humboldt Hospital. Mr Fergus had been in poor health for the past 10 years. Born March 17, 1883, on a farm 5 and ahalf miles northeast of Humboldt, NE. Mr Fergus was the son of James Corwin Fergus and Frances Forgy Fergus. Mr Fergus had been in poor health for the past 10 years. Born March 17, 1883, on a farm 5 and ahalf miles northeast of Humboldt, NE. Mr Fergus was the son of James Corwin Fergus and Frances Forgy Fergus. He attended school at Hazel Dell District 13, Humboldt High School, and a Business College in Quincy, IL. for a year. On February 6, 1907 he was united in marriage to May Neville Philpot. The couple made their home on the Fergus farm until 1944 when they moved to Humboldt where they have since resided. Mr Fergus was a member of the Humboldt Presbyterian Church where he had served two terms as an Elder. Frank Fergus is survived by his widow, May Fergus, three sons, Howard, Earl and Loren Fergus. Two daughters, Margaret Burgett and Helen McKim. Eight grandchildren, Carol Mae Fergus, France and Darlene Burgett, Susan,Coral,and Robin Fergus and Janet and Wanda McKim. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 1954. Burial in the Mound (Prospect) Cemetery northeast of Humboldt, NE.
