Pallbearers were William Kanzmeier, Gerald Hachmeister, Roy Lucht, Dale Deeth, Lincoln Thomas, and Duane Deeth. Burial was in Willow Township Cemetery, Greene County, under direction of the Huffman Funeral Chapel. Mr. Gilley died at Omaha April 14. He was a son of the late James and Louisa Cretsinger Gilley, born March 15, 1879, at Carrollton. On Dec. 9, 1903, he was married to Kathryn Hirsh, who died April 15, 1910. For a number of years he and a partner operated the Gilley-Gustoff Grist Mill in Coon Rapids. In 1916 he moved to Omaha and retired in February, 1960. On Nov. 20, 1934, he was married to Hallie LaVerna Booton who survives. Also surviving are one son, Ira Gilley, Scranton; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Nora Gustoff, Coon Rapids, and Mrs. Alverda Rhodes, Bayard. Relatives and friends attended the service from Des Moines, Spencer, Boone, Madrid, Dawson, Grand Junction, Jamaica, Guthrie Center, Lake City, Dedham, Glidden, Jefferson, Scranton, Bayard, Bagley, and Minneapolis, Minn.
