Beatrice Daily Sun, Beatrice, NE, Sat, July 10, 1926 Our departed Frank Henry Overbeck, son of Frank Overbeck and Louise, nee Hansjurgen, was born July 16, 1884 at Plymouth, Jefferson county, Nebr. He was baptized on August 2 of the aame year in the parsonage at Hoag, Gage county, Nebr.. by Rev. Frangott Haessler. After having been instructed he was confirmed on April 25, 1897 in the Lutheran church at Pickrell, Nebr., by Rev. Hertel. He was united in marriage to Anna Harrifeld on October 24th, 1909. Two children, a daughter and a son, were born unto this union. The deceased was a loving husband and father and a true member of his church. He loved the word of God and was seldom absent from services. He had always been healthy until this spring when he became ill of gallstones. He was operated upon twice and was in the hospital many weeks He was a patient sufferer. Thoughts which he often expressed were, "What God does is well done," and "As God leads me I will go." He passed away on the evening of July 8. His age was 41 years, 11 months and 22 days. Those left to mourn his loss are his wife, one son, one daughter, his aged father, his parents-in-law, brothers and their families and brothers-in-law and families. Funeral services were conducted at the Soap creek Lutheran church near De Witt, Nebr., by Rev. John Goes. Interment was at the cemetery at Plymouth.
