Frank married Mary Grace Lorraine Hartson in 1920. They had 10 children with 9 of them living to adulthood. Frank was Grace's adoptive step-uncle. He was the adopted son of the second wife of her grandfather, Jesse Stubbs Lamm, by whom he was apparently also adopted, according to the 1920 census. According to his death certificate, Frank died in an auto accident when the steering broke.
