Read More	HRUBESKY, FRANK WESLEY—Frank Wesley Hrubesky, son of Chauncey and Anna Hrubesky, was born February 1, 1886, in Schuyler, Neb. He passed away October 23, 1964, in Omaha, Neb., at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 22 days. The Hrubesky family moved to Geneva in 1989. Frank graduated from Geneva high school in 1903. He then attended the University of Nebraska for two years. The next several years were spent as a surveyor in Idaho and in California. Upon returning to Geneva in 1913 he was associated with the family business until 1920, at which time he purchased the undertaking business from his father. He served his community with honesty and integrity until his retirement in 1948. In 1932 he was united in marriage to Myrtle Ruth Fraizer of Ashland, neb. Three daughters, Mary Anne, Margaret Louise and Kathryn Sue, were born to this union. He was a member of the Congregational church, singing in the choir for many years. He joined the Geneva Masonic lodge in 1914 and served as master in 1920-21. He was presented his 50-years pin last June. Following his retirement, he pursued many diverse interests. He loved nature and the outdoor life and spent many hours golfing and fishing. He also loved books and discussions with him revealed an unusually well-read and learned man. He will be especially remembered for his exceptional talent and ability in working with woods. He spent many enjoyable hours designing, creating and displaying his original works of art. Preceding him in death were his parents, his sisters, Lucile and Ida, and his brother Chauncy. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; daughters, Mary Anne Adams of Omaha, Mrs. Daniel Roberts, of San Antonio, Tex., Kathryn of Sacramento, Cal., five grandsons and one sister, Lilian, of Geneva, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 25, at 2:30 p. m. at the Kritner-Farmer funeral home of Geneva with Dr. Everett Jackman officiating. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery with graveside services conducted by the Geneva Masonic lodge. Pallbearers were Dr. J. Q. Adams, John Koehler, Ben Koehler, Melvin Ralston, Ray Ainsworth and Tyler Edgecombe. The Nebraska Signal October 29th, 1964 page 9.
