He is survived by two brothers, Murray (Luella) Holt of Raymond and Issac ( Edith ) Holt of Lethbridge; and three sisters, Emma Dahl (Raymond), Ruth Salmon (Scott) of Raymond and Gladys (Woodrow) Stringam of Lethbridge; and 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Franklin T. Holt and Sarah Bullock Holt; three daughters, Sharon, Jacqueline and Janice, two sisters, Leah Jones, and Florence; and three brothers, Grant, Morris and William; daughter-in-law Linda Wilson Holt; and granddaughter Masina. Truman was born and raised in Raymond, Alberta. He was an honor student in school and had an enthusiastic love of music. He trained in his father's butcher business at an early age, developing many precision skills. Later, he and his brother Grant, took over the family butcher business and became well known for their quality meats. In 1943, Truman moved his young family to Vancouver, B.C. for nine years while working in the meat packing industry. Later they moved back to Raymond, where he started his own butcher shop. Since his retirement, Truman has resided at the Ridgeview Lodge in Raymond, until his passing away. Funeral Services will be held in Raymond, Monday, August 15th, at 11 a.m. in the L.D.S. Knight Chapel (Highway 52), Bishop Clayne Steed will be officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday, prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery. SALMON FUNERAL HOME, Cardston, assisting the family.
