Ruth was born December 12, 1907 at Provo, Utah, the fourth of eleven children of Franklin Truman and Sarah Bullock Holt. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters: Leah and Florence; four brothers: Grant, Truman, Morris and Bill; three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters: Leah and Florence; four brothers: Grant, Truman, Morris and Bill; three grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her husband Scott; their six children: Elayne Butler of Orcni, Utah; Gary and Charlene Salmon of Wenlworlh, Missouri; Kay and Kathleen Salmon of Boise, Idaho; Phyllis and Bert Murdock of Orem, Utah; David and Monla Salmon of Stirling, Alberta; Glen and Karen Salmon of Wardner, B.C.; also 26 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters: Emma Dahl, Murray and Luella Holt, Ike and Edith Holt, and Gladys and Woody Stringam. Ruth has lived a long and full life always .selling an example to her family. She was a member of and a diligent worker for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in all the church auxiliaries. She and her husband were thrilled lo 'be able to serve a mission tp the London, England Temple. As a youth she was taught by her parents the values of working hard and serving others. She loved to take part in plays, dram as and musicaI productions. Music was dear to her heart and she was known for her participation in and direction of many choirs anil vocal groups and for her encouragement to others in these areas. She enjoyed belonging to literary and service groups. Ruth was a homemaker who used her many lalenis for ihe benefit of her family and friends. Lovely flower and vcgeiable gardens always surrounded her home. She was known for the many quills she made. Her hands were never idle but always busy crealing beautiful things lo share with others. Ruth will be missed as a Wife. Mother. Sister and Grandma. We will always remember her devotion to her family. The Funeral Service will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Knight Street Chapel, Raymond on Thursday. December 16. 1993 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Rex Anderson officiating. Friends may meel Ihe family al the Church on Wednesday.. December 15. 1993 from 7:00 lo 8:00 P.M. OR Thursday from 1:00 lo 1:45 P.M. prior to the Service, interment will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
