Voss on Tuesday, June 19 at the United Church of Christ at 2:00 p.m. The soloist, Mrs Don Meyer sang "Abide with Me" and "The Lord is My Shepherd" accompanied on the organ by Mrs John Evers. Rev. Walter Baumgartner officiated at the services reading the following obituary: Fred Voss was born on August 20, 1891 in Goodrich Township Crawford County. Mr Voss was a member of the United Church of Christ. He died in Crawford County Memorial Hospital, Sunday, June 17. Surviving are: his wife, Laura, one son, Leonard of Walker, Iowa, one daughter, Mable, Mrs Wm. Luth, Charter Oak: ten grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs Emma Atzen, Round Lake, Minnesota; Bertha, Mrs Fred Atzen, Lake Park, Iowa; Chris Voss, Denison, Iowa; John Voss, Denison, Iowa; Rose, Mrs Herman Jurgensen, Denison; Ernest Voss, Denison; Paul Voss, Schleswig; Minnie, Mrs Eddie Paulsen, Correctionville, Iowa; Emil Voss, Manilla, Iowa; Ella, Mrs John Namanny, Lake Park, Iowa; Lill, Mrs Benton Boeck, Denison, Iowa; Roy Voss of Minnesota; and a host of other reatives (sic) and friends. The following brothers and sisters preceeded (sic) him in death: Anna Atzen; Martin Voss; Edward Voss; Edna Voss. Burial was made at Morgan Township Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Leroy Fredericks, Harry Groth, Wilbert Groth, Gerald Jurgensen, Ervin Voss, and Marvin Voss.
