Rev. mark Bittner officiated, Ruth Magedanz was organist. Susan Roering was soloist and Elton and Carol Peterson sang a vocal duet. Active casketbearers were Joe Farhart,Dennie Farhart, Harry Siemers, Dave Mahlum, Lloyd Johnson and Kenny Nelson. Honorary casketbearers were Arthur L. He was born November 16, 1906 in Bowbells to Albert and Marie Siemers, and was reared in that area. On Nov. 16, 1931, he married Barbara Lynch in Bowbells. They farmed in Minnesota Township, Burke County, until retiring in 1972. They lived in the Bowbells area until moving to Minot recently where he entered the Trinity Nursing Home. While in the Bowbells area, he served on the Minnesota Township Board and on the township's school board. He was also a member of United Methodist Church in Bowbells. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Norma Spuade, Westminster, CA, Caroline Hinz, Fallon, NE, Marcella Smith, San Bernardino, CA; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
