Description	:	PICARD, FREDERICK PALMER FRED--Frederick Palmer Picard, son of Fred P. and Martha Picard, was born in Geneva, Neb., May 15, 1905. He died March 22, 1953, at Lincoln, Neb., at the age of 47 years, 10 months and 7 days. Mr. Picard grew to manhood in the Geneva community, having received his education here and at the University of Nebraska, graduating from the school of pharmacy. He was united in marriage to Margaret Chapman of York and to this union were born three children, Frederick III, Martha, now Mrs. Robert Byrkit, and Linda Kay, still at home. Mr. Picard was associated in business with his father in Geneva for a number of years. He was a member of the Nebraska Pharmaceutical Association and of Delta Dau Delta fraternity. Besides his immediate family, he leaves one sister, Mrs. Naomi McCarthy, of Geneva. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 24, at the Kritner-Ashby funeral chapel and were conducted by Rev. Maude V. Mann of Lushton. The ministry of music was given by Mrs. H. A. Rosenau and Mrs. C. G. Hrubesky. Intermnet was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal 26 March 1953 page 1.
