Mr. Anderson was born Jan. 5, 1948, at Lawrence, the son of Carter and Opal Hollingsworth Anderson. He lived in Douglas and Osage counties all his life. He was graduated from Lawrence High School and Kansas City Diesel Mechanics School. He was a salesman for McConnell Machinery Co., Allis-Chalmers farm implements, Lawrence. He was a member of Clinton Presbyterian Church and Ridgeway Lodge No. 65, AF&AM, Overbrook. He married Carol E. Edwardson Dec. 28, 1969, at Lawrence. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Julie Anderson of the home; a son Justin Anderson, of the home; his father and stepmother, Carter and Thelma Anderson, Lawrence; three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Coggburn, Mrs. Jan Schwartz, and Mrs. Louise Wintermantel, all of Baldwin; and a brother, Loren C. Anderson, Lawrence. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Clinton Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Clinton Cemetery.
