George Albert Lee was born Sept. 6, 1912, at Milton, the son of Austin and Blanche McLeland Lee. He was reared and educated in Milton, and graduated from the Fairfield High School. Lee had been employed at the J&B Plastics for 11 years prior to his illness. He was married to Edna Bates June 13, 1936, at Kahoka, Mo. She died June 29, 1962. He was later married to Ida M. Taylor Nov. 20, 1963. He was a member of the Methodist Church. The family home is at 203 E. Washington. Lee is survived by his wife and three daughters: Mrs. Larry Woolums, Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. Robert Mares, Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Larry Roberts, Fairfield; one stepson, James Taylor, Fairfield. He is also survived by one half-brother, Max Madden, Fairfield; two half-sisters, Lucille Willy, New London; and Dorothy Madden, Terre Haute, Ind.; and a stepsister, Yvonne Wheaton, Pulaski.
