Read More	Richmond Daily Palladium, Richmond, IN - December 13, 1901 Geo. B. Manning George B. Manning, one of Wayne county's wealthy and influential citizens, residing near Economy, died December 6, 1901, aged 67 years, 7 months and 20 days. He was born in Connecticut. His father moved to Indiana in an early day and was a typical Hoosier school-master. George Manning was married to Susan C. Lamb, August 27th, 1857. He united with the church of the United Brethren in Christ, about forty years ago. He has been a faithful and devoted member of said church ever since. He was honest, industrious and prosperous in business. He was devoted to his family and kind to his neighbors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The church, the community and the home has suffered a great loss in his death. He leaves eight children and one sister to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held in the M. E. church at Economy in the presence of a large audience of sympathizing friends and neighbors. The services were conducted by Bishop H. Floyd of Dublin, assisted by Rev. J. M. Kabrick of Daleville, Ind., and Rev. G. E. Swartz of Greensfork, Ind. (Article copied as printed.)
