Read More	George Pulse Dies At Center Friday George Pulse, who had been in failing health for several months, passed away late Friday afternoon at his home in Center. Death came at 5:15. Mrs. Pulse died a little more than a month ago. George Franklin Pulse was born at Shepherdstown, West Virginia on January 24, 1861 and died June 12, 1936 at the age of 75 years, four months and 28 days. He spent his early boyhood in Shepherdstown and in the vicinity of Harpers Ferry. At the age of nineteen years he came west and worked as a farm hand near DeWitt, Iowa and later was employed in a saw mill at Clinton, Iowa, where he had charge of an edger. On February 17, 1886 he was united in marriage to Miss Tillie Reed at DeWitt, Iowa and settled on a farm there until 1896. They then came to Nebraska and located on a farm north of Winnetoon, where they resided for five years. Mr. Pulse then made the purchase of a farm near Center. Fourteen years ago he purchased a home in Center, retiring from farm life and lived there up to the time of his demise. To Mr. and Mrs. Pulse seven children were born, three of whom preceded their parents to the other world. Mrs. Pulse died on May 3rd of this year after fifty years of wedded life and companionship. Those of the family who mourn are one daughter, Mrs. John MacDonald (McDonald in Clarissa's bio.) of Forsythe, Montana and three sons, Homer of Ekalaka, Montana and Howard and Harold of Center; two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law and sixteen grandchildren. The deceased was an honest man and a thoughtful father. His death marks the passing of a worthy citizen. Funeral services were held on Sunday at the home in Center at 1:30 and at the Congregational church at 2:00. Rev. Klopp, pastor of the Congregational church at Plainview, conducted the last rites in the presence of scores of relatives and friends, who assembled to pay their tribute to the departed.
