He could fix anything around the home. Highland Recorder February 6, 1948 Funeral services for George Grant McCray, 81, of Headwaters who died January 29, were held Saturday at 2:30 P.M. The services were held at Headwaters Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev M.J. Craun and Rev. L.M. Rose. He is survived by one sister Mrs Sally Drummond of Clarksburg, W. Va. Brothers: P.F. McCray, of Lone Fountain, O.R. McCray of Headwaters, also by a number of nieces and nephews. February 6, 1948 Mr. George McCray of Headwaters died on Thursday night, Jan. 29, aged 80 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, quiet and gentle in his manner, a kind neighbor and worthy citizen. He is survived by two brothers, Reese of Headwaters, Peter McCray of Lone Fountain and two sisters living in West Virginia. Funeral services were held at Headwaters on Saturday afternoon by Rev. M. Craun of Rockingham County, assisted by Rev. L.O. Rose.
