Mr. BAKER was born Nov. 25, 1915, in Fairfield, the son of William Carrie LOEHR BAKER. He married Bettye Kay YOUNG Aug. 28, 1938, in Clinton. Mr. BAKER had been a lifetime resident of the Fairfield community. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1934. He graduated from Nebraska School of Pharmacy in Lincoln, Neb. He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran, participating in World War II. He was a pharmacist at Martin Pharmacy for 17 years; B&R Drug Store for 18 years; and Easter Pharmacy for six years. He retired in 1982. He returned to work at Brown Pharmacy for 10 years. He retired permanently in 1993. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, American Legion Post 2271 and the Howard Johnson Coffee Club. Survivors include his wife; and one brother, William BAKER of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Helen BAKER DAGGETT, Lillian BAKER ZEIGLER and Catherine BAKER; two brothers, Arthur and Frank BAKER.
