Va., April 30, 1904 and passed away at his home in Lancaster, Ohio, June 8, 1946 at the age of 42 years, 1 month and 9 days. He was united in Marriage to Margaret Josephine Guisinger, November 30, 1929, and to this union were born seven children. Two daughters and five sons, namely, Rose Mary and Norma Jean, and Richard, Harold, James, Kenneth and Donald, all of the home. As all good fathers, he believed in the church and not only sent his children to Sunday School, but brought them. The home life in the Waugh family was one to admire, each assuming their responsibilty and discharging their dutyy with naturalness and ease. Mr. Waugh was a devoted husband and a kind and loving father, setting a noble example before his children by his clean living. His home and family were his main interest in life and he was most happy when serving them. He was highly respected in the community in which he lived and by his fellow workman at the Hocking Glass Co. where he has worked for the past 14 years. Mr. Waugh has been in failing health for the past two years, but was not confined to his home, having worked his shift the morning he died. Death came suddenly and unexpectedly but we bow in humble submission to the will of Him who never makes a mistake but doeth all things well. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Mrs. Vena Rogers. He leaves to mourn their loss a devoted wife, two daughters and five sons of the home, his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Vinton Pence of Pleasantville, Ohio, one brother, Almond Waugh of Wallback, W. Va., and a half-sister, Mrs. Laurena Burton of Columbus, Ohio and a host of more distant relatives and friends.
