Mrs. Hollenbeck is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hatcher and possesses all those fine qualifications that go to make a good wife. Mr. Hollenbeck is an industrious young man of splendid habits and will no doubt make her a good husband. They will reside for the present with her parents. (Contributed by MO Gal) W. Hollenbeck, 52, of Near Here Dies George Warren Hollenbeck, 52 years old, died at his home northwest of Shelbyville, after a sudden illness of about twelve hours’ duration. Cerebral hemorrhage was the cause of his death. He was a native of Black Hawk County, Iowa, where he was born March 2, 1885, a son of the late Sylvester and Catherine Hollenbeck. Forty-six years ago he moved to this county and had lived here ever since. On January 4, 1911, he was married to Miss Ruby Hatcher, who survives. He was a member of the Forest Grove Methodist Church, and was a prominent and respected farmer. Besides his widow, he is survived by two children, Alvan Hollenbeck of near here, and Mrs. Elma Bennett of this city [Shelbyville]; two grandchildren, Marian Jane and Alvan Vaughn Hollenbeck; seven brothers, Jesse Hollenbeck of Live Oak, CA; Henry Hollenbeck of Sheridan, WY; Harry Hollenbeck of Monticello, MN; Howard Hollenbeck of St. Paul, MN; Wilbur Hollenbeck of Lentner; Will and Richard Hollenbeck of near here. Two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Beckley and Mrs. Laverne Feely, preceded him in death. Funeral rites were held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Shelbyville Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. Forrest E. Flowers of Atlanta, assisted by the Rev. Sidney Gaither. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. [Shelby Memorial] Cemetery. (Contributed by MO Gal)
