Description	:	George Warren Moorman, 78, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rumsey Funeral Home in Lawrence. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence. Mr. Moorman died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1991, at the Veterans Administration hospital in Topeka. He was born Jan. 31, 1913, in Salina, the son of William Phillip and Mary Burghart Moorman. He moved to Lawrence in 1917 and attended public schools in the Lawrence area. He worked for the Douglas County Road Department. He moved to Lawrence in 1917 and attended public schools in the Lawrence area. He worked for the Douglas County Road Department. He then became an apprentice at Kennedy Plumbing and later purchased that business. He retired in 1979 and moved to Franklin County, but returned to Lawrence earlier this year. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He married Lois Frances McGee Nov. 6, 1937, at Atchison. She survives of the home. Other survivors include four brothers, Orville, Lawrence; Raymond, Panama City, Fla.; Edward, Dayton, Ohio, and Bernard, Gladstone, Mo., and four sisters, Alma Mae Moorman and Margaret Jane Sexton, both of Lawrence; Esther Yost, Omaha, Neb., and Mary Katherine Brubaker, Florissant, Mo.
