Description	:	Washington was the son of Robert and Catherine (Hickman) Perfect. He married Mary Howell, 17 April 1834, Delaware County, Indiana. Obituary received from Osborne County, Kansas, Genealogical and Historical Society. Alton Empire June 5, 1902 Washington Perfect, who came to Osborne County in 1883, died at the home of his son, G. W. Perfect, on May 30. He was 88 years of age. Mr. Perfect was probably the oldest man in Osborne County. Obituary received from Osborne County, Kansas, Genealogical and Historical Society. Alton Empire June 5, 1902 Washington Perfect, who came to Osborne County in 1883, died at the home of his son, G. W. Perfect, on May 30. He was 88 years of age. Mr. Perfect was probably the oldest man in Osborne County. He leaves a wife two years younger than himself, the partaker of his joys and sorrows for sixty-eight years, besides six of his children, two of whom, G. W. and Marion, reside in Grant township. Washington Perfect lived the life of a God fearing man and raised a creditable family. Though retaining his faculties almost to the last, his later years found him very feeble. Himself and his aged wife have been cared for for several years by their son George. The funeral services were held on Sunday June 1 by Rev. Cortner of Gaylord. His remains were laid to rest in the Grant Center Cemetery. A large number of people from Alton and surrounding country paid their last respects at his grave.
