Description	:	GEORGE WILLIAM RITNOUR George William Ritnour, son of George and Margaret Ritnour, was born in Page County, Iowa on December 6, 1883. His boyhood was spent in and around Adams and Montgomery Counties. On September 24, 1902, he was married to Orpha Phillips. To this union were born three children, two of whom preceded him in death. A daughter, Elsie Wright, survives. In 1926 he was married to Beulhah Nall. A stepson, Donald, Survives this union. Read More	GEORGE WILLIAM RITNOUR George William Ritnour, son of George and Margaret Ritnour, was born in Page County, Iowa on December 6, 1883. His boyhood was spent in and around Adams and Montgomery Counties. On September 24, 1902, he was married to Orpha Phillips. To this union were born three children, two of whom preceded him in death. A daughter, Elsie Wright, survives. In 1926 he was married to Beulhah Nall. A stepson, Donald, Survives this union. Mr. Ritnour leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Beulah, a daughter, Elsie, a son Donald, four sisters, Susan Belten, Sadie Bloom, Ellen Graham, and Marie William. He is also survived by a grandson, two great grandsons, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends, all of whom loved him and will remember him as a great friend. He passed away at his home in Caron on March 15, 1950 at the age of 65 years, 3 months, and 9 days Funeral services were held Friday, March 17, 1950 at 1:30 p.m. from the Boyd Roland Funeral Home in Corning, Rev. Robert T. White was in charge. Music was by Mrs. Russell Roland and John Riegel, accompanied by Mrs John Champ. Pall bearers were Lyman Hoselton, Art Hardisty, Perce Smith, Bob Haltry, Ray Mosley, and Glen Cooper. Burial was sin Nodaway Cemetery. Adams County Free Press, Corning, Iowa, Thursday, March 23, 1950, page 2 George Ritnour, the last brother of Mrs. Ellen Graham and Mrs. Pete Bloom passed away at his home near Carbon, Wednesday, March 15. He was 66 years old and had lived near Nodaway for many years at one time. The funeral services were held at the Roland Funeral Home in Corning on Friday afternoon uncharge of the Rev. Two children preceded her death, Dortha and Hiram. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Delmar Alfred (Elsie Hannah)
