Description	:	Sarah Ritnour, daughter of George and Margaret Wise Ritnour, was born in Page County, Iowa on October 13, 1874 and departed this life at her home in Nodaway, Iowa, January 22, 1958 at the age of 83 years years, 2 months, and 22 days. She spent her girlhood on a farm west of Corning, Iowa and at the age of 13 she united with the Evangelical Church West of Corning and later transferred her membership to the United Brethren Church. Read More	Sarah Ritnour, daughter of George and Margaret Wise Ritnour, was born in Page County, Iowa on October 13, 1874 and departed this life at her home in Nodaway, Iowa, January 22, 1958 at the age of 83 years years, 2 months, and 22 days. She spent her girlhood on a farm west of Corning, Iowa and at the age of 13 she united with the Evangelical Church West of Corning and later transferred her membership to the United Brethren Church. She attended church and Sunday School regularly and later years enjoyed listening to church services by radio. On November 1, 1894, she was united in marriage to Peter Bloom of Montgomery County, Iowa and to this union was born three children, Edgar, who preceded her in death, Forrest of Red Oak, Iowa and Luella Roberts of Nodaway, Iowa. Besides his husband and two children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive. Mrs. Bloom was a good wife and mother, and a kind and thoughtful friend and neighbor and her home was always open to her friends. Funeral services were held in the Sutphen Funeral Home, Villisca, Iowa, January 24, 1958, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Alvin Sigafus in charge. Pall bearers were Fred Lamkin, John Vogel, E. L. Miller, Tom Haley, Murl Rhamy, and J. P. Nelson. Flowers bears were Mrs. E. L. Miller, Mrs. W. Loper, and Mrs. Maude Dau. Music was by Mrs. Icle Fisher, who was accompanied by Mrs. Mable Dunn.
