Mrs. Ireland died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1991, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She owned and operated Ireland's Cafe in Lawrence from 1966 to 1973. She was born Feb. 29, 1908, in Benton County, Mo., the daughter of Lafayette Oliver and Pinka Alice Snavely Dillon.
