Services were held Thursday at Minden United Methodist Church with Mary Schukar officiating. She was born Nov. 21, 1910, in Minden to Adrian and Bessie (Burchell) Wells. In 1932, she married Ray Bjorklund. He died in 1970. In 1975, she married Carl Starr. He died in 1989. Services were held Thursday at Minden United Methodist Church with Mary Schukar officiating. She was born Nov. 21, 1910, in Minden to Adrian and Bessie (Burchell) Wells. In 1932, she married Ray Bjorklund. He died in 1970. In 1975, she married Carl Starr. He died in 1989. Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Johnson of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Sandra Hein of Minden; stepson, Wendell Starr and his wife, Frances, of Hastings; stepdaughter, Jane Drake and her husband, Ray, of Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Bjorklund of Arvada, Colo.; son-in-law, George Rogers of Pensacola, Fla.; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandsons; many great-grandchildren; and special friend, Mary Yant. She graduated from Minden High School in 1928. She worked at Minden Telephone Co. for three years. She enjoyed doing fancy work, fishing and gardening, was an excellent cook, was a Nebraska football fan and loved being outdoors. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, Warren; daughter, Roma; granddaughter, Sarah; and five sisters. She was buried with her first husband, Raymond Bjorklund.
