Description	:	Robert Lee, 80, and Glendyne Elkins, 70, of Jeffrey, WV departed this life on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Boone Memorial Hospital in Madison, WV. Robert was born June 24, 1937 a son of the late Arland and Tessie Elkins and his step mother, the late Virginia Elkins. He was also preceded in death by his brother Charles Elkins and sister Janet Booth. Read More	Robert Lee, 80, and Glendyne Elkins, 70, of Jeffrey, WV departed this life on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Boone Memorial Hospital in Madison, WV. Robert was born June 24, 1937 a son of the late Arland and Tessie Elkins and his step mother, the late Virginia Elkins. He was also preceded in death by his brother Charles Elkins and sister Janet Booth. Glendyne was born September 24, 1947 she was the adoptive daughter of the late Glen and Hazel Barker and was preceded in death by her parents; Edna and Elton Land. Robert worked at the Joe Ball Lumber Company, Doug Bell’s Coal Company, Danville Lumber, and Westmoreland Coal Co. Glendyne was a homemaker. They were both long time members of the Clothier Presbyterian Church. Robert’s survivors include brother Arnold and his wife Angie Elkins, sister Georgia and husband Dennie Dent both of Hewett, WV, and several nieces and nephews. His family would like to thank everyone from their church for all their kindness, love, and support they showed them, especially Jamie and Becky Baldwin for all the help they did for them. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Glendyne was survived by her husband Robert, who joined her shortly after her passing, her sister Marie Chamblee, niece Lorie Chamblee both of Florida, a very special great niece, Deja Johnson, and her fur-baby Reecie. She also had many wonderful friends she cherished dearly; Glendyne loved her community and church family very much. A joint service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Charles Ferguson and Rev. Gary Ferguson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens at Low Gap, Madison, WV. Friends may call from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM Thursday at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville.
