Mr. Davis died Sunday, June 28, 1992, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 1926, in rural Lawrence, the son of Clarence Lloyd "Bud'' and Marium Magdalena House Davis. He was born Nov. 11, 1926, in rural Lawrence, the son of Clarence Lloyd "Bud'' and Marium Magdalena House Davis. He grew up in Lawrence and attended Lawrence public schools. He served in the Pacific campaign during World War II. He moved to Hutchinson in 1947 and returned to Lawrence later that year. In 1952 he started work for FMC Corp. in Lawrence, where he served as a boiler operator, and retired in 1987. He also farmed. Mr. Davis married Jacinta Mae "Jo'' Jenkins on Nov. 8, 1947, in Newkirk, Okla. She survives of the home.
