Description	:	Goldie Geneva Cathers, 66, of Springville, died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday at Dunn Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for five years. She was born in Trinity Springs on February 18, 1898 to Howard and Patience Smith Peek, she was united in marriage to Clarence Cathers on February 18, 1914 and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Betty Byers of Springville and Mrs. Helen Carmichael of New Orleans, Louisana; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Wagoner of Indianapolis; and one brother, Vernon Peek of Greensburg. Friends may call at the Day & Carter Mortuary after 6 p.m. today.
