Read More	Gregory Lyn Smith (formerly Bussart) Born January 23, 1955 in Lancaster, OH, died February 8 ,2021, in Lancaster. Greg was a 1973 graduate of Lancaster High School and attended Ohio University. He was active in the 5th Avenue Church of Christ and later at the Fairfield Christian Church. He was retired from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Greg loved his pet cats and was concerned for all the strays he ran into. His passion was music, collecting records (and later CDs} most of his life. He enjoyed attending gospel concerts with various friends and "oldie" concerts with his best friend Dick. He was preceded in death by his beloved mom, JoAnne, and his dad, Robert. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Fairfield Christian Church, 1965 N. Columbus St, Lancaster, OH on Saturday, March 27, at 10:30 AM. Rev. Mark Barbee will officiate with Rhonda and Carolyn and Pat Sain providing special music. Although Greg left no special instructions, his friends think he would have wanted for his remains to be placed with his mother, JoAnne. Contributions to help with Greg's burial expenses may be made to "Fairfield Christian Church" and sent to Fairfield Christian Church, 1965 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH, 43130. Please put "Greg's Smith's burial expenses" on the check memo line.
