On Monday, July 22, having been overheated he called on Dr. Linder. This overheating terminated in meningitis and this disease with other complications is what caused his death. Deceased was born on the farm, where he has since lived, on May 15, 1881, and died July 27, 1901 at the age of twenty years, two months and twelve days. On Monday, July 22, having been overheated he called on Dr. Linder. This overheating terminated in meningitis and this disease with other complications is what caused his death. Deceased was born on the farm, where he has since lived, on May 15, 1881, and died July 27, 1901 at the age of twenty years, two months and twelve days. Funeral services were conducted at the family home at two o'clock Monday by Rev. Pendell of Stanhope, and he was interred in Oakwood cemetery. More than a hundred teams were in the funeral procession. The M.W.A. Camp 4135 of this place, of which Harold was a member, had charge of the funeral. Harold was a young man well liked by all who knew him, a son kind to his parents, a boy who was friends with everybody. Thus, another young man just in the prime of life was taken from our midst, another home saddened, a mother and a father's heart is broken. The one sturdy form was stricken with disease and is now gone from relatives and friends to its last resting place, leaving those behind to mourn the loss of one whose presence was to them a comfort which only can come from the deeply loved.
