Outlook - Friday, 16 September 1910 - Page 1 - Mrs. Joseph Barss - Mrs. Joseph Barss departed this life at Vergennes, Vermont, Aug. 24th, aged 74 years. Sister Barss was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Vidito. She was converted at an early age, and was baptized by her father. She lived at Melvern Square for many years, and was much beloved by all as a devoted christian and a faithful friend. A few years ago she removed to the States, where her son, J.N. Barss, holds a prominent place as superintendent of the Vermont State Refomatory School. A short time ago our sister developed cancer of the stomach, and every effort that love and money could make for her recovery proved unavailing. Her remains were brought to Paradise and interred beside those of her husband and father. To her son and wife we extend our loving sympathy. The service was conducted by Revds. H.B. Smith and L.F.
