Description	:	Obituary, Harriett Winchell Harriet Winn, daughter of James and Elizabeth Winn, was born in Ulster county, New York, July 31, 1835 and departed this life February 7th 1921, being 85 years, 6 months and 6 days old. She was united in marriage to Levi Winchell, December 1, 1853. In 1887 they moved to Illinois. They both professed a hope in Christ and united with the Primitive Baptist church in 1863, and lived consistent members to death. To this union were born nine children, four having preceded their mother into the better world.... Read More	Obituary, Harriett Winchell Harriet Winn, daughter of James and Elizabeth Winn, was born in Ulster county, New York, July 31, 1835 and departed this life February 7th 1921, being 85 years, 6 months and 6 days old. She was united in marriage to Levi Winchell, December 1, 1853. In 1887 they moved to Illinois. They both professed a hope in Christ and united with the Primitive Baptist church in 1863, and lived consistent members to death. To this union were born nine children, four having preceded their mother into the better world. Five are living and were at her bedside at the end. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, five children, twenty-nine grand children, besides a host of friends and relatives. But we mourn her not, as others who have no hope, For we believe that our loss is her gain. The remains of Mrs. Winchell were laid to rest in Brown cemetery, near Hewins, Kans., Tuesday, February 8, the services being in charge of Rev. Tieson, a Baptist minister of Preston, Kans. Mrs. Winchell was the mother of Mrs. J. B. Vandruff, a former resident of Pawhuska, and the grand-mother of Mrs. Oscar Burdette of this city.
