Description	:	Harry Edward Courtney, 73, of Luray, died on Thursday, June 23, 2011. He was born on Oct. 24, 1937, in Stanley and was a son of the late William Ray and Beulah Clara Jenkins Courtney. Mr. Courtney was employed at Blue Bell for 44 years and was a member of the Luray Christian Church. On March 2, 1956, he married the former Nancy Lee Richards, who survives. Mr. Courtney was employed at Blue Bell for 44 years and was a member of the Luray Christian Church. On March 2, 1956, he married the former Nancy Lee Richards, who survives. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Junior Courtney; and two sisters, Agnes Lorraine Rinaca and Helen Louderback. A funeral service was conducted on Sunday, June 26, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Stan Peerless and the Rev. Warren P. Brubaker. Burial was in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray. Memorial contributions may be made to the Luray Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Luray, Va. 22835; or to the Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Fourth Floor, Winchester, Va. 22601.
