Description	:	HALL, HARRY VINSON—Harry Vinson Hall, son of Squire and Martha Elizabeth Hall, was born near Strang, Neb., September 13, 1890. When he was a small child the family located on a farm near Ohiowa and he spent the rest of his life in Chelsea township, residing at the present location since 1923. Read More	HALL, HARRY VINSON—Harry Vinson Hall, son of Squire and Martha Elizabeth Hall, was born near Strang, Neb., September 13, 1890. When he was a small child the family located on a farm near Ohiowa and he spent the rest of his life in Chelsea township, residing at the present location since 1923. He was united in marriage to Laura Myers, January 18, 1911, at the home of the bride’s parents in Chelsea township. Three children blessed their marriage, Lela, Mrs. Derrel Hutchens; Verla, Mrs. William Robinson; and a son, Lyle, who preceded his father into the future life, October 2, 1952. After a short illness at home he was removed to St. Elizabeth hospital, Lincoln, where after 12 days he concluded his life on earth. His wife, his sister, and his family were with him during his sickness, and every possible aid was provided for his welfare. Members of the family left to mourn are his wife, Mrs. Laura Myers Hall, and the two daughters, Mrs. Derrel Hutchens and Mrs. William Robinson, also a brother, W. A. Hall of Lewistown, Mont.; a sister, Mrs. Roy Christiancy of Seattle, Wash.; and a brother, Claud J. Hall of Ohiowa, Neb. A sister, Mrs. Florence Bailar, preceded him in death in June, 1953. There are seven grandchildren, Leon, Linda Kay and don Hutchens; charlotte and Sharon Robinson; and Dennis and Dixie Hall. Mr. Hall united with the Geneva Methodist church, February 26, 1922, under the ministry of Rev. R. H. Thompson. He has served his church as an official member, also was a member of the township board, and of his rural school board. He was devoted to his home and family and took a great interest in his grandchildren. He was a good home-maker, a good farmer, a good official, a good neighbor, and a good man. Funeral services were at the First Methodist church in Geneva, Sunday afternoon, March 4, at 2:30. The tribute was given by Dr. F. E. Pfoutz. The ministry of music was provided by a quartet composed of Ralph Reemts, Lloyd London, Wallace Swanson and Richard Wagner, with Miss Harriett Scott at the organ. The songs were, “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder” and “Beyond the Sunset.” The pallbearers were John Brooke, Ronald Fox, Norbert Gergen, Clair Christiancy, Winfield Schupbach and Wayne Winchell.
