The groom did not like the charivari and swore out a warrant for the arrest of the party. Those who were arrested walked up to the captain's office and paid their fine. ====================== The Hebron Journal-Register (Hebron, NE), Friday, December 21, 1917; pg. 7 Henry Moeller Passes Away Henry Fr. Wm. Moeller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fr. Moeller, was born at Empede Kreis Neustadt, Hanover, Germany, June 16, 1863, and died last Friday at 4 o'clock, at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 28 days. After two years service in the Germany army, Henry Moeller came to America, living first in Nemaha county (sic), Nebraska, and then locating on a farm near Byron where he lived until his death. He was married June 16, 1899, to Minna Eitzmann. To this union seven children were born - four boys and three girls. For the last four years he has been in failing health, but he never complained. Five weeks ago he went to Rochester, Minn., accompanied by Dr. R.F. Decker, but three weeks ago a stroke of paralysis made the needed operation impossible. He passed away last Friday seemingly without pain. He leaves to mourn, his wife, six children, a half-sister, one nephew in Germany and five cousins here, besides numerous friends and neigbhors.
