She was born on June 20, 1916, to Willie and Mildred (Myers) Kline in Milford Township. Living most of her life in Nevada and Story County, she married Dick Myers on OCt. 27, 1936, in Watonga, Okla.. She had worked as a bookkeeper for the Story County Auditor's office and also as a homemaker. She was a member of the Nevada United Methodist Church and of the Lydia Circle in the church. She also was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, the Rebekah Lodge and the Wa-Tan-Ye Club. Her hobbies included cooking, traveling and embroidering. Survivors include a daughter, Maryjo Welch of Clive; three brothers, Lloyd Kline of Nevada, Ronald Kline of Nevada and Wayne Kline of Osage Beach, Mo.; three grandchildren and onegreat-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1981 and a brother, Merle. Graveside funeral services and burial were held Monday, Oct. 16, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Nevada with Rev. James King officiating. **She graduated from Shipley High School with the class of 1934.
