Mrs. Moore was born Nov. 12, 1913, at Creston, the daughter of Jim and Ella Tasler Webster. As a young girl she moved with her family to Albion, where she attended Albion Public Schools. She married Jim Moore on Feb. 12, 1931, at St. Edward. They farmed in the St. Edward community until 1958. From 1958 to 1978, they owned and operated Moore's Tavern in St. Edward. He died in April 1988. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and Altar Society and a former member of the West Friendly Neighborhood Club. Survivors include two sons, Bill Moore of Columbus and Chuck Moore of Fairbury; a daughter, Sharon Kershaw of St. Edward; a sister, Delores Broughton of St. Edward; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, two infant sons, a son, Donald, a grandson, two brothers and a sister.
