Description	:	Daughter of James and Ella (Tasler) Webster. Dolores was born on February 10, 1906, at Platte Center. She passed away Sunday, March 24, 1996, at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward after a lengthy illness. She received her early education at the parochial school in Creston and graduated from Creston High School in May of 1925. She later received a Baccalaureate degree from Kearney State College at Kearney. She married Forrest Meridith in 1932. The couple lived in Boone and St. Edward where Mrs. Meridith taught for 35 years at many of the rural Boone County schools, St. Edward Public School, St. Bonaventure grade school in Columbus and Lindsay Holy Family in Lindsay. In 1944, she married Byron Broughton at St. Edward Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and Altar Society. Survivors include three daughters, Donna Florance of League City, Texas, Ella Milburn and her husband, Howard, of Columbus, and Linda Dickenson and her husband, Bill, of Clive, Iowa; one son, Jim Meridith and his wife, Joyce, of St Edward; ten grandsons, two granddaughters, 18 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Gen Webster; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her patents; husbands, Forrest Meridith and Byron Broughton; two sisters, Geraldine Webster and Jean Moore; two brothers, Dale and Blane Webster; and one great-grandson, Alec Meridith. Burial was in St. Edward Catholic Cemetery.
