Description	:	HELEN I. HEFFELFINGER, 89, of rural Loudonville, died Sunday evening, February 12, 2017 in Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville, following an extended illness. Helen was born March 10, 1927 in Knox County and was the daughter of the late Otto A. and Ora A. Richert Motz. She was a 1945 graduate of Loudonville High School and lived in the Loudonville area most of her life. She was a homemaker and farmwife, where she was actively involved in the milking operations and daily bookkeeping of the family farm well into her 80s. HEFFELFINGER, 89, of rural Loudonville, died Sunday evening, February 12, 2017 in Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville, following an extended illness. Helen was born March 10, 1927 in Knox County and was the daughter of the late Otto A. and Ora A. Richert Motz. She was a 1945 graduate of Loudonville High School and lived in the Loudonville area most of her life. She was a homemaker and farmwife, where she was actively involved in the milking operations and daily bookkeeping of the family farm well into her 80s. Helen was a member of Trinity Community Church, Loudonville where she enjoyed serving her church through maintenance and building projects. On November 24, 1948 she married Harley E. Heffelfinger at Zion Lutheran Church, Jelloway, and he died September 23, 2012. Helen is survived by her son, Douglas (Phyllis) Heffelfinger of rural Loudonville; her daughter, Lucinda (Jim) Pyers of rural Perrysville; four grandchildren: Ryan (Tracy) Pyers, Lindsey (Jonah Roush) Pyers, Emily and Andrea Heffelfinger; four great-grandchildren: Keegan and Gage Pyers, and Taylor and Morgan Sutter; two brothers: Richard (Dorothy) Motz and Ernest Motz, all of Loudonville and one sister: Ruth Keister of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister: Annabelle Ruehling. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 15 at 10:30 a.m. in Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with Pastor John Temple officiating. Burial will follow in Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in Lindsey Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Community Church, 127 S. Union Street, Loudonville, Ohio, 44842.
