Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Divers died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1993, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born April 22, 1902, in Logansport, Ind., to Walter and Ida Schallenbeck LeGros. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Divers died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1993, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born April 22, 1902, in Logansport, Ind., to Walter and Ida Schallenbeck LeGros. She spent most of her life in California and moved to Montana in 1967. She moved to Lawrence in 1980. Mrs. Divers was a volunteer grandmother at Raintree Montessori School for 10 years and was affectionately known as "Grandma Divers" to hundreds of children who attended the school over the years. She also was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church and an active member of the church's Women's Group. She was a lifetime member of the Women's Auxiliary of World War I Veterans Assn. She married Clyde M. Moore on March 10, 1922, in Los Angeles. He died March 8, 1940. She married Raymond S. Divers on March 14, 1952. He died Feb. 21, 1980. Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Stannard, Lawrence, and Louise Merino, San Jose, Calif.; four sons, William Moore, Fresno, Calif., James Moore, Sudbury, Mass., Herbert Moore, Bakersfield, Calif., and Howard Moore, Visalia, Calif.; a sister, Grace Brotman, Banning, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
